In an age where “going to church” is what professed Christians “do”, we, as elect children of the Most High God, believe that being but one of many ekklesias is who we are, rather than what we do. We do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhort one another, and so much more as we see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:25). With Christ as our chief cornerstone, we believe that we, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ, as is our reasonable service (Ephesians 2:20-22, 1 Peter 2:4-5, Romans 12:2). Having been baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and having been made by Him to be His disciples, being taught to observe all that He has commanded us (Matthew 28:18-20), we show our love for one another (John 15: 12-17) by sharing our meals and our lives on a daily basis, looking out not only for our own interests, but also for the interests of others (Philippians 2:1-4). We understand that the ekklesia is not an end in itself, but rather a means to an end, that end being the coming Kingdom of God. Assembling ourselves together in Jesus’ name, as iron sharpens iron, we are sharpened by one another and by the Spirit of Him who called us, that same Spirit which dwells in each of us and bit by bit conforms us into the image of the Son (Romans 8:29). All of this is so that we might be fit to reign with Him at His coming (2 Timothy 2:12, Revelation 20:6).

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
